The Horticulture Club has been a
very active club over the past few years. Students involved in the
club participate in fund raising activities, community service projects,
and go on trips to various public gardens in the area.
The community service projects are
focused on improving the college community and the surrounding area.
The following list includes some of the projects the Horticulture Club
participated in:

planning and planting gardens on campus

participating in Earth Day celebrations

setting up a scholarship fund for high
school students who are interested in horticulture

helping schools in the area build terrariums
and start gardening projects of their own

arranging floral design classes on
campus for interested faculty and staff members

participating in planting and clean-up
projects for local organizations
