"Sleeping Beauty" Awakens at MCCC's Kelsey May 3

Combine a fairy tale princess, a poisoned spinning wheel, and a sleep that lasts 100 years. The delightful children's classic, "Sleeping Beauty," is presented by American Family Theater (AFT) at MCCC's Kelsey Theatre on Saturday, May 3 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

From the opening scene that celebrates the birth of a princess, to the dastardly curse placed upon her by a malevolent fairy, to the reawakening set in motion by Prince Charming's kiss, AFT's magical musical adaptation of "Sleeping Beauty" will enchant young audiences. In addition to thrilling special effects, the show's musical score includes such crowd-pleasing numbers as "The Beauty Inside Us All," "What Else," "Baby," "The Birthday Song," and "I Could Fall In Love."
