Mercer County
Community College invites members of the community to attend an
information session on Saturday, Mar. 24 entitled "So You
Always Wanted to Go to College?" The session will be held
from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in the Student Center on Mercer's West
Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road.
With an emphasis on adults students, the event will focus on college
decision-making, including attendance at community colleges and
college in general. Issues such as new career directions, earning
credits for life experience, balancing college with work and family,
and overcoming fears of the classroom will be addressed. Participants
will also hear success stories of adult students who realized their
goal of attending college. Representatives from both Mercer's credit
and noncredit programs will be on hand to present information about
degree programs and career-enhancing noncredit certificates.
Tours will be
conducted by MCCC student ambassadors, who will answer questions
from a student's point of view. Light refreshments will be served.
Call 609-570-3795 to reserve a seat.
