Find out as TheatreworksUSA presents "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel" at Mercer's Kelsey Theatre on Saturday, May 15 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is conveniently located on the college's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
In this original musical based on Virginia Lee Burton's classic 1939 children's book, TheatreworksUSA tells a powerful tale of friendship and loyalty as two old friends address the problem of growing outdated in a world of new technology. Young audiences will cheer for Mike and Mary Anne as they valiantly labor to finish their epic task. And they will welcome the story's resolution, which enables Mike and his steam shovel to find another way to be useful to the town of Popperville.
