Professor Joseph Gowaskie
to Speak on N.J. Labor Movement Nov. 4

N.J. - Mercer County Community College invites community members
to learn more about the state in which we live and work. Dr. Joseph
Gowaskie, a professor of history at Rider University who specializes
in New Jersey labor history, will present "On Life Support:
The New Jersey Labor Movement in the 21st Century" on Wednesday,
Nov. 4, at 12 noon. This free lecture takes place o the college's
West Windsor Campus, Communications Building, CM 107.
Dr. Gowaskie
teaches U.S. labor, economic, urban and business history. His research
interests include American coal miners and the United Mine Workers
of America. He has published articles and reviews in the Journal
of American History, Labor History, Business History Review and
The Historian.
