"Clue, the Musical" Brings Famous Board
Game to Life at Kelsey Theatre Oct. 19-28

9/20/07

For those who like murder mysteries, and those who like board games, the perfect show is coming to MCCC's Kelsey Theatre. The Yardley Players present "Clue, the Musical" Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 8 p.m., and Sundays, Oct. 21 and 28 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Fans of "Clue," the board game, are in for a treat as the show brings the world's best-known murder suspects to life on the stage. Audiences are invited to play along to answer the famous questions: "Who dunnit? With what weapon? In which room?" As suspects sing, dance and bluff their way through, the audience will attempt to guess which of the possible 216 endings will solve the mystery. This appealing romp of a show - in which no two performances will end in the same way - features lively, witty musical numbers including "She Hasn't Got a Clue" and "Life Is a Bowl of Pits." The show is based on the book by Peter DePietro, with lyrics by Tom Chiodo and music by Galen Blum, Wayne Barker and Vinnie Martucci.

The "Clue" cast includes all the usual suspects: Samille Ganges as Mrs. Peacock, Laurie Gougher as Miss Scarlet, Rob Gougher as Mr. Green, Michael McCollum as Colonel Mustard, Dan Slothower as Professor Plum, and MaryAnn Wylie as Mrs. White. Del Howard plays the victim, Mr. Boddy, Anna Kitces is the detective; and Mike Diiorio is featured as the piano player. The show is directed by Howard Matter and produced by Marge Swider, with musical direction by Pat Masterson and choreography by Del Howard.

Tickets for "Clue, the Musical" are $16 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for students and children. Free parking is available next to the theater.
