“Charlotte” Spins Her Web
at MCCC’s Kelsey Theatre March 10-12

“Charlotte’s Web,” the classic tale of friendship in the animal world by author E.B. White, comes to the stage of MCCC’s Kelsey Theatre. Ideal entertainment for the whole family, the show begins on Friday, March 10 at 7 p.m., and continues on Saturday and Sunday, March 11 and 12 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

The Pennington Players present the beloved story of Wilbur the Pig, the runt of the litter who is befriended by the animals of the barnyard. Chief among Wilbur’s comrades is the wise and gentle spider Charlotte. Recognizing that Wilbur is destined for slaughter, they develop an ingenious plan to save his life. The tale was described by E.B. White as "a story of friendship and salvation on a farm."

Starring in “Charlotte’s Web” are: Jean Rosolino as Charlotte, Anabelle DeClement as Wilbur, Stephanie Millner as Fern Arable, Kurt Levy as Mr. John Arable, Vicky Czarnik as Mrs. Martha Arable, Josh Levy as Avery Arable, John Russell as Mr. Homer Zuckerman, Cheryl Mills as Mrs. Edith Zuckerman, Brian Siekerka as Lurvy, Emily DeClement as Templeton, Lizzy DeClement as Goose, Amy Slothower as Gander, Danielle Kwami as Sheep, Isaiah Davis as Lamb, and Thomas Elijah Davis, Stefanie Infante, and Emily Silverman as spiders.

Also featured are Ethan Levy, Hannah Mills, Chris DeClement, Judy DeClement and Evan Halliday. Carolyn O’Connor is the narrator. The show is directed by Chris Heffron. Producers are Maryellen Birdsey and Dottie Farina. Rachel Rudnick is the stage manager.

Tickets for “Charlotte’s Web” are $8 for everyone. Free parking is available next to the theater. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-584-9444.
