MCCC Board of Trustees Honors Students
In Recognition of Community College Month
April 19, 2007

Harry Watson, Jr., was honored as a Phi Beta Lambda State
Scholarship winner and for his leadership as a PBL Vice President.

Luis Nazario was honored along with five other Aviation students for winning
the Intercollegiate Flying Association regional championship in Fall, 2006.
Keiko Ishida was honored for her service as vice presdient for the Visual Arts
Alliance Club. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the International
Student Organization, and assists in the MCCC Art Gallery.
Chris Soprych was honored as a Phi Beta Lambda
national competition winner.
Nichole Pollard was honored as an EOF scholar with
outstanding achievement.
Dr. Diane Campbell, dean for Enrollment and Student Services, is pictured
with honoree Rodney Wright, president of the MCCC Hospitality Club.
Sandra Smith was recognized for her service as
vice president of the MCCC Hospitality Club.
Jonathan Harmon was honored for academic achievement.
Students enjoyed refreshments after the ceremony. Pictured are honorees,

Ed Barry, a graduate of the Career Training Institute at JKC, helped out
