Join Alexander for His "Terrible, Horrible...Day" at MCCC's Kelsey Theatre June 9

Have you ever had a really rotten day? Alexander has. He wakes up with gum in his hair, trips on a skateboard, and accidentally drops his sweater in the sink - all before breakfast! Join Two Beans Productions, in association with TheatreWorksUSA, for "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," coming to MCCC's Kelsey Theatre Saturday, June 9 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is conveniently located on Mercer's West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Children will sympathize, laugh and sing along as Alexander's day continues to go downhill. He gets squashed in the car on the way to school, his teacher doesn't like his drawing of an invisible castle, and Paul doesn't want to be his friend anymore. There's no dessert for lunch, there are lima beans for dinner and, worst of all, there's kissing on television! It's enough to make you want to move to Australia! Based on the best-selling children's story by Judith Viorst, this hilarious musical teaches youngsters that people everywhere have a bad day sometimes…even in Australia.

Two Beans Productions is a managed artist troupe presented under the auspices of TheatreWorksUSA, America's largest and most prolific professional not-for-profit theatre for young and family audiences. Since 1961, TheaterWorks has enlightened, entertained, and instructed over 78 million people in 49 states and Canada.

For Alexander, the day starts badly
and continues downhill from there.
Can Alexander rise above it? Yes he can!
