Trenton, N.J. -- Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC’s) Trenton Campus invites the community to an Open House on Wednesday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to noon.
At 10 a.m., a ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place for new facilities for MCCC’s Youth College, which provides year-round enrichment programs for middle and high school students from the Trenton area. Renovations include new space, including a TEAL (Technology Enabled Active Learning) classroom.
Following the ceremony, student leaders will conduct tours of the Kerney Hall building, including state-of-the-art biology and chemistry labs, the New Jersey Manufacturers Career Center, and classrooms for the Fashion Design and Merchandising Programs, which are located across the street in Trenton Hall (137 N. Broad Street). Students from the Fashion Program will unveil their work in a window display at 11:30 a.m. and visitors are invited to vote for their favorite designs.
