Twenty Minutes to Curtain to Present Full-Length "Snow White" Musical at MCCC's Kelsey Theatre Sept. 23-Oct. 2

West Windsor, N.J. - What's the fairest show of them all? It's "Snow White," set to a lovely musical score in the grand tradition of old-time Broadway. Twenty Minutes to Curtain Productions presents a full-length family musical of the Brothers Grimm classic at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Performances are Fridays, Sept. 23 and 30 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sundays, Sept. 25 and Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on Sept. 23.

Written by the late Broadway actress, Marilyn Gerold of Bucks County, Pa., who put numerous fairytale classics to music after retiring from the stage, this adaptation is reminiscent of popular musicals of the 1950s, according to director Claudia Perry. In addition to the main characters, "everybody sings and dances - from Clara, the bell who acts as the town crier, to a sympathetic frog who dances a soft shoe, to the singing trees," Perry said. "The melodies are quite catchy. Families will enjoy following the familiar story of Snow White in this creative retelling - complete with a happy ending, of course."

The cast includes: Ali Urusow of Feasterville, Pa., as Snow White; Kevin Minor, of Langhorne, Pa., as Prince John; Mary Rose Brendel, of Cranbury, as Clara; Kavya Pochiraju, of West Windsor, as Townsperson One/Apple; Cynthia Reynolds, of Bordentown, as Townsperson Two/Fir; Teddy Brendel, of Cranbury, as Small Child/Worm; Jason T. Skibinski, of Freehold, as Guard One/Huntsman; Eric Simon, of Princeton Junction, as Guard Two; Mariel Rosati, of Ivyland, Pa., as Queen; Jenny Horowitz of East Windsor as Mirror/Mac; Paulina Ench of Princeton as Lady Goody Good/Willow; Tyler Eisenacher, of Levittown, Pa., as Frog; Marissa Marciano, of Plainsboro, as Smiley; Alana Greener, of Princeton Junction, as Grouchy; Taylor Buffa, of Plumsted, as Drowsy; Taylor Galgano, of Pennington, as Professor; Lea Abreu, of Hamilton, as Shy; Tara Misiura, of Hightstown, as Sniffles; and Ben Hahn, of Cranbury, as Dizzy.

In addition to Perry, the production team includes producer Eric Knight Barnes and producer/choreographer Kristine Lewis of the Theater Arts Center in Doylestown, Pa. Set and lighting designer is Jerry Jonas; production manager and technical director is Chris Whelan.
