WEST WINDSOR – College students looking to catch up or get ahead, or individuals looking to enhance their job skills will have a chance to do so this summer at Mercer County Community College (MCCC), where registration is now open for the summer semester.
Students can select from 11-week or five-week classes, with most beginning May 28 and July 10. Mercer offers classes on the West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road, on the Trenton campus, 102 North Broad Street, or through MercerOnline.
Summer courses available through MercerOnline include Accounting, Human Anatomy, English, History, Psychology and Spanish, among many others. On-site offerings include these topics as well as additional classes in Art, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Science, Mathematics, Photography, and more.
Mercer offers 70 associate degree programs and 30 certificate programs in career areas with projected job growth, including education, business, law enforcement, entertainment technology, and health professions. Through the University Center at Mercer, students who complete their associate degree are eligible to transfer into bachelor’s degree programs offered on the Mercer campus through partnerships with William Paterson University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, and Felician College.
MCCC is hosting an open house on Wednesday, April 17, at 6 p.m. in the West Windsor campus Student Center, where prospective students can learn more about college programs and services. Registration is encouraged but not required. For more information, visit www.mccc.edu/openhouse.
