Schedule Set for Strategic Planning Listening Sessions
From Strategic Planning Steering Committee Co-Chair Andrea Lynch: Listening sessions are an opportunity for you, the Mercer stakeholders, to provide input about Mercer's strategic direction for the next three to five years. For a complete schedule of listening sessions, click here. The agenda for each listening session is simple: The first 10 minutes will be a brief presentation about external data. The remaining 50 minutes will be for the group to provide answers to four questions. To preview the questions, click here. Make sure your voice is heard as Mercer charts a strategy that ensures the success of our students for the next 50 years! Keep up with the progress in the Strategic Planning process on M-Link here.

Lou Draper Exhibit at NYC Gallery Through Feb. 20
As part of a Black History Month celebration, the Steven Kasher Gallery in New York City will present a solo exhibition featuring 75 works by the late Lou Draper, coordinator of MCCC's Photography department from 1982 to 2002. The retrospective runs through Feb. 20. Read more on the gallery's website here.

Basketball Alumni Determined to Finish What They Started
As teammates on the MCCC 2010-11 men's basketball team, Gary Carthan and Jonathan Jernigan learned a lot about hard work and perseverance, lessons that are serving them well as they continue their college careers. In December, they faced off on the court as players for their respective four-year schools. Read their stories here.

Assessment Update. There is a new section on MLink under Plans & Reports that has links to the assessment and accreditation pages.  This will be the go-to place for all updates and information. Visit the page here.
