Yevgeniy Fiks is a Moscow-born New York-based artist. His art has been exhibited internationally, including in such venues as Biennale of Sydney (2008), Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art (2007), and Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art (2005, 2007, and 2009).
Reviews on his work have appeared in Artforum, Artforum.com, ARTnews, Art in America, Modern Painters, Afterimage, The New York Times, Harper's, and Financial Times.
Yevgeniy attended V. I. Surikov Art Institute in Moscow from 1991-1993 and holds a B.F.A. degree from Brooklyn College (1997) and an M.F.A. degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York (1999).
He is represented by Winkleman Gallery in New York and Galerie Blue Square in Paris.
Yevgeniy teaches drawing, design, digital media art and advises the Visual Arts Alliance.
