MCCC Foundation
Mission
The MCCC Foundation is an independent 501C3 Corporation whose purpose is to establish and carry out enrichment activities that support the mission of MCCC and the community it serves.
Directors
The Foundation's directors serve the college in many important ways and are encouraged to bring to the Foundation their interests, expertise, connections, availability and capability. They are expected to fulfill their role in accordance with the MCCC mission statement.
The Foundation and its members establish goals and objectives annually and long-range to meet the mission of the Foundation in the context of the college's established priorities.
Foundation board members are college ambassadors who seek to develop community understanding and support of the college and its programs and services. They help to identify, screen, cultivate and solicit potential contributors to the college.
Events and Activities
The Foundation holds two major fundraisers yearly for student scholarships: a Dinner Dance and a Golf Outing.
Scholarships
The Foundation manages 50 different scholarship funds
and continually welcomes new donations to enhance student achievement. Students interested in any particular scholarship opportunities
are requested to submit a Scholarship Interest Form by the May 1 deadline.
