Mercer County Community College offers several degree and certificate programs for people interested in working in human services and public safety.

Human Services
Program Description
Social Services Prepare to work as a paraprofessional in organizations such as hospitals, social work institutions or community action organizations.
Education Build a solid foundation and prepare to transfer into a bachelor's degree program in education.
Education/Special Education Assistant Prepare for a career as an education assistant or teacher's aide in schools, day care centers and other institutions.
Paraprofessional Classroom Educator

Prepare for positions as paraprofessionals in a school setting or classroom, instructional aides, and assistant teachers in a pre-school or daycare setting. Individuals currently holding paraprofessional positions may use this program to enhance classroom and related skills.
