MCCC Invites Families to Camps Open House Jan. 26

WEST WINDSOR – Mercer County Community College (MCCC) invites families to a Summer Camps Open House on Sunday, Jan. 26, noon to 3 p.m., in the Student Center on the West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. (Snow date: Sunday, Feb. 2.)

Camp directors will be on hand to provide overviews of all camp programs and answer questions about scheduling, staffing and pricing. Tours of MCCC's extensive facilities will be available, including computer labs, Olympic-size swimming pool, sports fields, tennis courts, and cafeteria.

More than 70 options are available for fun and enrichment during Summer 2020. The season begins June 22 and runs through August 14.

MCCC's long-running programs for children ages 6-16 include: Camp College, offered in two sessions (June 22 to July 17 and July 20 to August 7); one-week, full- and half-day Specialty Camps (June 22 to August 14); Sports Camps, featuring 17 separate one-week sessions in four different sports (June 15 to August 7); and Tomato Patch Visual and Performing Arts Workshops, offered five days a week in two sessions (June 22 to July 16 for 8th through 12th graders and July 20 to August 6 for 4th through 7th graders.) Performing Arts Master Class sessions will be offered for 8th to 12th graders June 22 to July 10 and July 20 to August 7.

Before and after-camp care is available for all programs. Families will be able to submit their camp registration forms at the Open House, guaranteeing the widest selection from Mercer's offerings. For those who plan to complete the application at the Open House, some medical information, including current immunization records, is required.
