The Executive Leadership Summit:
Overcoming Challenges in the Modern Workplace

9/5/12

West Windsor, NJ: The Mercer Institute of Management and Technology Training at Mercer County Community College (MCCC) will host "The Executive Leadership Summit: Overcoming Challenges in the Modern Workplace," on Tuesday, October 9.

The summit will enable guests to earn professional development credits while learning powerful techniques from speakers and best-selling authors who guide the CEO's and top management executives from Fortune 500 companies around the world.

The program begins with Dr. Stephen Payne, known internationally as "The Leader of Leaders," who will provide insight and direction on "Letting Your Leadership Rise Above The Chaos.” Following his presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to select two, one-hour workshops. A catered lunch will be provided by MCCC’s world-class Conference Center.

Keynote speaker, Diana B. Henriques, a Pulitzer Prize award finalist and former senior writer for the New York Times Financial Section for 30 years, where she is now a contributing writer, will take the stage to discuss her best-selling book, "The Wizard of Lies," which tells the story behind Bernie Madoff. Henriques has known Madoff for more than 15 years and will provide an insider view of how he was able to defraud so many.  Guests will learn what they and their businesses can do to avoid falling into similar traps.

Dynamic speakers include Dr. Paul Marciano, author of “Bullying in the Workplace”; Eileen N. Sinett, author of “The Leadership Trump Card: Speaking that Connects”; David Tate, PhD and Priscilla Cale, MBA, authors of “What the Titanic Can Teach Us About Leadership in Times of Crisis”; and Tara Seager of Ally Solutions Group, speaking on “Leading Organizational Change:  Your Company's Competitive Advantage.”

Mercer Institute Director, Elaine Weinberg says, “We have worked hard to put together this extraordinary group of presenters and believe we are offering the most informative, powerful and enjoyable event for corporate leaders in the northeast and surrounding areas."

The day will end with a cocktail reception where guests can talk informally with the speakers and each other.  For more information, visit www.mercerinstitute.com/leadership.html, or call (609) 570-3280.
