Take Off with MCCC Flight Instructors to Benefit Flight Team
West Windsor, NJ – Mercer County Community College’s aviation faculty and flight instructors will take to the skies for a good cause at a Flight Fair on Saturday, October 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., departing from the Trenton-Mercer Airport. Rain date is Oct. 3.
The cost is 25 cents per pound of the participant’s weight, and weights are kept confidential. The minimum charge is $10 and maximum is $25 per person. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The 20-minute ride will give members of the community a beautiful panoramic view of the area. Proceeds will benefit students in MCCC’s Flight Team, which will be competing in a regional flight competition.
The planes take off from the college’s hangar at Trenton-Mercer Airport located in Ewing Township. Vistors should take 1-95 to Exit 3A (Scotch Road South – General Aviation), then stay to the right and turn right onto Sam Weinroth Road. Go 1/10 of a mile past Ronson Aviation, and MCCC’s Aviation building is on the left side.
Mercer County Community College offers an associate degree program in Aviation Flight Technology that attracts students from throughout the state and region.
