MCCCC Information Session for High
School Students, Parents Oct. 14
N.J. - Mercer County Community College invites high school students
and their parents to an Information Session on Wednesday, Oct. 14
from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The session will take place in the Student Center
Cafeteria on Mercer's West Windsor Campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road.
Administrators and admission representatives from MCCC and New Jersey
four-year colleges will be on hand to discuss academic programs
and opportunities for transfer to bachelor's degree programs.
The interactive gathering seeks to demystify the college admissions
process. Discussion will include dual admissions and transfer opportunities
with many partner colleges and universities, including The College
of New Jersey, Rider University, Rutgers and NJIT. Also discussed
will be bachelor's degree programs on MCCC's campus offered by William
Paterson University, Fairleigh Dickinson University and Felician
College. Participants will receive an overview on the wealth of
resources that Mercer provides.
Students and their families will also receive information about
the NJ Stars Program, which provides free community college tuition
for New Jersey high school students who graduate in the top 15 percent
of their class.
Lifelong learning opportunities for all members of the community
will be discussed.
RSVP for the event is recommended but not required. For further
information, call the Admissions Office at 609-570-3224.
