MCCC’s Career Training Institute to Host Open House Sept. 17
West Windsor, NJ: The Career Training Institute (CTI) of Mercer County Community College’s James Kerney Campus will host an Open House on Friday, Sept. 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. at their headquarters at the Daylight Twilight High School, Trenton, for those interested in learning about its popular 30-week career training programs.
Designed for both newcomers to the work world and more experienced workers who wish to upgrade their skills, the CTI’s noncredit programs include administrative office and culinary fields.
Students may choose Secretarial/Word Processing, PC Applications, Computerized Bookkeeping, Medical and Legal Secretary, or Culinary Technician. Entering students must have either a high school diploma or GED. Financial aid and payment plans are accepted.
After completing a program, students receive job search assistance from the One-Stop Career Center, which offers one-on-one counseling, workshops, and access to the internet in a state-of-the-art computer lab. The center has a high job placement rate. Graduates also have the opportunity to make a seamless transition into credit classes at Mercer County Community College.
