MCCC Offers Later-Starting Fall Credit Classes

West Windsor, NJ: Although most credit classes have already begun at Mercer County Community College, learners of all ages still have a chance to sign up this fall, with later-starting credit classes that begin Oct. 4, Oct. 22 and Oct. 25. The ten-, eight- and seven-week sessions include subjects ranging from English Composition and Psychology to International Business, Constitutional Law, Algebra, Business Statistics and Microeconomics.

Classes take place at the West Windsor campus, the downtown Trenton James Kerney campus, and online through The Virtual College. Previously registered students may sign up for classes online at www.mccc.edu. Students who plan to apply for financial aid for October-starting classes need to do so immediately.

A special four-credit “Oracle SQL Academy” course is set for ten Saturdays beginning Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For information, contact Prof. Okike at 609-570-3464 or e-mail okikeq@mccc.edu.

Offering 70 associate degree programs designed for transfer or career preparation, Mercer provides career and college solutions for a wide variety of needs. For those whose goal is a bachelor’s degree, Mercer offers dual admissions programs with colleges throughout the region, and holds transfer agreements with many other colleges.Through the University Center at Mercer, three colleges offer bachelor’s programs right on the West Windsor Campus: William Paterson University, Fairleigh Dickinson University and Felician College.

With a student population of all ages, Mercer welcomes career-changers, those who need to improve specific skills for career advancement, and those who take classes for personal interest. In addition to its credit programs, Mercer’s Center for Continuing Studies offers a full range of short-term classes in business, health careers and many other areas that begin year-round.
