Greater Mercer County Chamber of Commerce
Joins MCCC to Offer Seminar June 18

The Greater Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Mercer County Community College, will present the first in a series of new business forums on Friday, June 18. "Enhancing Your Professional Image," takes place from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m. at the high-tech Conference Center on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. There is a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for nonmembers.

The program will include a discussion of memory power with Matthew Goerke, one of the best memory trainers in America, who has worked with such well-known speakers as Zig Ziglar, Ed Foreman and Tony Robbins. He has trained executives from major corporations including AT&T, IBM, Exxon and Prudential.

Career and life coach Robin Fogel of Robin Fogel & Associates will discuss “Steps to Attracting Success.” Fogel has 20 years of leadership experience and writes an "Ask the Coach" column for an insurance industry publication.

The business forum series represents a new training partnership between the chamber and the college, with MCCC Dean Bill Mate acting as chairman. "Since Mercer County Community College is a mecca for education in the community, including the business community, we see this partnership as a great new educational opportunity."

Timothy Losch, chamber chairman, said this is the first in a series of five forums, with the next scheduled for September. "On behalf of the Mercer business community I am happy to see these business forums become a reality," he said. "This and coming seminars will directly address the needs of our members and the community." Losch invites anyone with a suggestion for future seminar topics to contact Bill Mate at
