MCCC Gallery Highlights Student Talent


WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- The "Mercer County Community College Visual Arts Student Show 2006" exhibits the work of talented Mercer County Community College art students of all ages at the college's Gallery from April 26 to May 12. The Gallery is located in the Communications Building, second floor, at the West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

According to Gallery Curator Tricia Fagan, this year's show includes 140 works of fine and graphic arts in watercolor, drawing, photography, digital prints, ceramics, mixed media, oils and acrylics.

Students in Mercer's Fine Arts and Graphic Arts programs can earn associate degrees in fine art, illustration, ceramics/sculpture, advertising design, architecture, photography, and computer graphics.

Gallery hours for this exhibit are Mondays 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Fridays, 9 to 11 a.m.; and Wednesday evenings, 7 to 9 p.m.
