Information Session for NJSTARS Program March 3


WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- High school students who may be eligible for free college tuition through the NJSTARS program are invited to learn about the program at an Information Session at Mercer County Community College, set for Wednesday, March 3 at 6 p.m. in the Student Center Cafeteria.

NJSTARS, the New Jersey Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship, is a state program for New Jersey residents which covers the cost of tuition and approved fees at the student's local community college.

To be eligible, students must graduate from high school within the top 15% of their class, must enroll for 12 college credits or more, and meet other criteria as outlined by the NJSTARS Program. Detailed eligibility information is available online at

The Information Session will cover the details of the NJSTARS program, admission to MCCC, financial aid, transfer opportunities and bachelor's degree programs on the MCCC campus offered by William Paterson University, Fairleigh Dickinson University and Felician College.
