Now For Classes Beginning
It's not too late to take a course this semester at Mercer County Community College (MCCC). Late-starting classes for ten-week, seven-week and five-week sessions will begin in February and March.
Beginning on February 22 and running until May 9, the college is offering courses in a ten-week session that includes drawing, watercolor, speech, composition, history, algebra, pre-calculus, music, psychology, sociology, Spanish I, theater, anthropology and more.
Seven-week classes that begin March 22 include accounting, business, digital imaging, speech, tennis, child development and a computer concepts course.
Five-week courses beginning February 22 and running until April 4 include fitness, library skills and gas combustion. A second five-week session beginning April 5 includes courses in health and safety, funeral services, fitness, and library skills.
This semester brings new opportunities to Mercer students who plan to transfer for a bachelor's degree. Agreements have been signed with PennState at Abington, Saint Peter’s College in Jersey City and Peirce College in Philadelphia. At Rider University, scholarships up to $7,500 per year will be offered to qualifying students who transfer.
Beginning with this
semester Mercer is offering a new tuition payment plan that enables students
to pay over a four-month period if they enroll for at least six credits.
