MCCC Offers ServSafe Certification Prep Program

West Windsor, NJ:  Mercer County Community College (MCCC) is offering the ServSafe Certification Food Safety Manager Exam Prep course in downtown Trenton at the James Kerney Campus this month.  Offered by the Center for Continuing Studies, the course provides professional food protection managers with the tools needed to identify and prevent foodborne illnesses.

The certification is now mandatory in New Jersey for at least one person in Risk Type 3 food establishments. 
The training sessions run Dec. 5 through 12 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Dec. 7 through 14 from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., and Dec. 9 and 10 from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuition and fees are $99.
For those seeking re-certification, MCCC will offer the ServSafe Re-Certification course on Dec. 12 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.  Tuition and fees are $59.

MCCC’s Center for Continuing Studies will also offer ServSafe classes at the West Windsor Campus on Feb. 28 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and on May 15 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
