West Windsor, NJ: Enrollment is open for Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC) popular Winter Session, which provides students with the opportunity to earn college credits online or on-campus during winter break. The courses are open to students from other colleges, and to high school students.
Online courses, offered through Mercer's Virtual College, begin Dec. 19 and run for six weeks. Students can study from home or office at their convenience. Included are classes in business law, philosophy, English, nutrition, history, psychology and Spanish.
The on-site classes begin Jan. 3 and run for three weeks at both the West Windsor and James Kerney Campuses. The classes meet three to four days per week, and are offered both days and evenings. Courses will cover diverse topics in business, chemistry, economics, literature, history, mathematics, fitness, culinary arts, photography and more.
MCCC offers assistance with financial aid, as well as academic counseling, tutoring, and career services.
In addition to Winter Session, registration is also open for Spring Semester courses at Mercer. Most Spring Semester courses begin January 23, with some business courses starting Jan. 20, and later-starting courses starting Feb. 27.
