MCCC Wins Four Awards at National Conference

Lynn Holl, Mercer County Community College’s Director of Marketing, and Senior Graphic Designer Francis Paixao, accept four awards on behalf of the college’s marketing staff at the National Conference of Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District I awards ceremony Oct. 4. The NCMPR represents marketing and public relations professionals at colleges in the northeastern U.S., eastern Canada and the U.K.

The college won three Silver awards and one Bronze award for its Viking alumni newsletter, its marketing campaign featuring student photos, a CD for student orientation, and its print advertisements for newspapers and magazines. All the projects were completed in-house.

The Marketing team also includes graphic designers James Smith and Tracy Patterson, Editor Brad Kent, and Public Information writers and editors Saveria Symons and Wendy Humphrey. MCCC Photography student Cheryl Gower photographed her fellow students for the ad campaign.
