Law Enforcement Professionals Join Together at Mercer for the Criminal Justice Conference

A full day conference "Targeting the Usual Suspects" took place on March 30 at Mercer County Community College's Conference Center, with workshops and networking. Participants included representatives from the New Jersey Department of Corrections, the New Jersey State Parole Board, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the New Jersey State Police, the New Jersey Association of Criminal Justice Educators, and the New Jersey Chapter of the American Correctional Association.

The event was sponsored by the New Jersey Chapter of the American Correctional Association (NJACA), the New Jersey Association of Criminal Justice Educators (NJACJE), MCCC and Cisco Systems.

Participating in the program, from left, were James T. Plousis, chairman of the New Jersey State Parole Board, MCCC President Patricia C. Donohue, Gary M. Lanigan, commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Corrections, MCCC Professor Cavit Cooley, and James Hemm, president of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Correctional Association.
The presentation of colors by the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
MCCC Professor Cavit Cooley opened the event.
