A Message From Mercer County Community College's President,
Dr. Patricia C. Donohue

February 16, 2007

Dear Friends,

I am so pleased to be here in Mercer County. Your welcome has been warm and gracious.

Our mission as a community college is to reach out to local students of all ages -- helping them learn and grow as contributing citizens, productive in the workforce. As we plan ahead together, we must keep in mind that an even larger percentage of the population will need and seek a college education in the years to come.

As a lifetime teacher, I am an educator first and foremost, and I love helping people learn. At Mercer my focus will be on helping students to succeed. Our community college is about creating futures.

I ask for your continued support as you join with us in our important educational mission.

I look forward to meeting all of you, and to becoming an active participant in helping Mercer County meet the educational challenges of the future.

Patricia C. Donohue
President
Mercer County Community College
