On May 22 Mercer County Community College celebrated the graduation
of 935 students, bringing the 41-year total to about 31,000. Presenting
the keynote address, Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman began by saying
she was proud that her son, Jared, was among the graduates. Television
major Jennifer Leigh, a 2004 graduate of Nottingham High School, spoke
on behalf of the student population.

was presented with this year's Distinguished Teaching Award.

Confers Student Awards and Scholarships
Mercer's deans presented 120 awards and scholarships to outstanding students
at the Honors Convocation on May 22. Many of the awards are endowed or
annual scholarships donated by community groups and individuals. New this
year is the Care One Scholarship for a Physical Therapist Assistant program
graduate, the Susan Farabaugh Memorial Scholarship for a graduate pursuing
the field of pathology, and the Charles Russell Engineering Scholarship
in memory of Charles Russell.
Kerney Campus Celebrates Achievement
Guests could feel the excitement at Trenton's War Memorial building
on May 13, when the James Kerney Campus hosted an enthusiastic audience
for its Celebration of Academic Achievement. Receiving awards and certificates
were 270 students who completed credit or noncredit programs. More here

This summer MCCC again offers a host of enriching activities, not only
for college students taking summer classes, but for families of children
ages 6-17, who may choose from a wide variety of exciting summer camp

the national no. 1 singles title in Division III of the National Junior
College Athletic Association.

The Mercer County Community College Foundation provides scholarships to
deserving students and allocates needed funds for important college projects.
There are many ways you can help. Although the easiest gift is cash, it
is also possible to make a multi-year pledge, or donate appreciated securities,
insurance, personal property or real estate. You may also choose to remember
the MCCC Foundation in your will or annuity. All gifts are tax deductible

Art All Over Coming to The Gallery June 3 to July 3
new exhibit opening June 3, Art All Over "celebrates the exuberant
'art spirit' that motivates human beings to adorn, appropriate, change,
embellish, color, and re-create the objects and environments that define
their lives," says Gallery Director Tricia Fagan. The show continues
through July 3, with a reception
set for Saturday, June 14, 1 to 3:30 p.m., and a Gallery Conversation
Wednesday, June 18 at noon. The Gallery is located on the second floor
of the Communications Building on MCCC's West Windsor campus. More here
