Through August: Helen Tanzini's yoga classes will be continue on Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. in the PE dance studio (2nd floor) for the remainder of the summer. Monday yoga classes at 5:30 p.m. will continue through August in the dance studio.

Announcing Mercer Meal Money!

You've seen the postcards on campus. Now the website is up and ready for MCCC students and staff to learn more about Mercer Meal Money. Financial aid funds may be applied to Mercer Meal Money, which includes specials at Mercer's cafeterias. Please help spread the word to students.

Two New Transfer Agreements Signed
MCCC has signed new articulation agreements that will ease the transfer process for graduates who wish to continue their education at La Salle University in Pennsylvania or Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island. More here.

Students Learn by Cooking with Celebrity Chefs
MCCC culinary students are up to all challenges when it comes to testing their myriad kitchen skills. During the spring, several ventured from their campus test kitchens to work for Master Chef Emeril Lagasse and Food Network’s Iron Chef Cat Cora. All tasks required speed, and the ability to listen, understand, and multi-task. More here with photos.

MCCC Instructor Julie Rothbard Cited for High Score on Praxis Exam
Julie Rothbard, who teaches part-time in MCCC's English department and ABE/GED program, received a certificate of recognition from ETS for an outstanding performance on the PRAXIS II exam for elementary education. Her score places her in the top 15% of all test takers. Rothbard earned her Ph.D. in 1996 from the State University of New York. In addition to teaching at Mercer, she also teaches at the Ujima Urban Women's Center and works for the Bo Robinson Assessment and Treatment Center in Trenton.
