Kelsey Cruisers Journey to the Bahamas
Aboard the luxury cruise liner, the Norwegian Spirit, 25 Mercer staffers
and friends of Kelsey Theatre spent seven days at sea in pursuit of fun,
sun and a taste of the islands. The ship set sail right from Port Liberty
in Bayonne on June 18, and made stops in Port Canaveral, Florida; Nassau,
Bahamas; and the Great Stirrup Cay before returning on June 24.
According to Kitty
Getlik, the cruise was a great way to enjoy some down time with co-workers,
actors, and production people associated with Kelsey Theatre. The event
also generated welcome fund-raising dollars for the theater.
Next year's cruise
is already in the planning stages. The voyage will be a nine-day "Caribbean
sampler" in August on the Princess Cruise Line. For more information
contact Kitty at ext. 3580.
