Students Produce Live Commencement Broadcast
Nine Mercer students, one former student and one alum teamed up with faculty and staff members to produce a live broadcast of commencement ceremonies. The team members served as camera operators, character generator operators, graphic artists, audio technicians and production assistants.

Faculty and staff members who participated include Tony Bruzaitis (Executive Producer); Steve Voorhees (Director); Barry Levy (Technical Assistant); Valarie Daniels (Technical Director); Dave Valentino (Engineer); and Tim Stives (Audio). Photos

Retirement Celebration
Friends helped Mercer retirees to celebrate at a festive party on June 16. The retirees present for the party were Winnie Burgess, David Collier, William Mate, Ronald McCall, James Rowe, and Herbert Spiegel. Patt Carr and Joe Szabo were not able to attend. Jennie DeLapo was the MC and Art Schwartz introduced the faculty members.

Committee members included Vanessa Wilson, chair, Jennie DeLapo, Joan DeLucia, Kitty Getlik, Mike Glass, Lynn Holl, Barbara Jefferson, Barbara Marx, Marie Mendez, Dot Walton, Erika Worthy and Rosanne Zarrilli.

Women's Tennis Team Brings Home National Trophy
The Mercer Women’s Tennis Team has solidified a national dynasty, winning its fourth NJCAA title in eight years in Tucson, AZ, May 7-13. (The last national title was in 2002.) “It was a dream week,” Head Coach Marc Vecchiolla said. Five of his players were named All-Americans and Vecchiolla was inducted into the NJCAA Tennis Coaches Hall of Fame during a special ceremony. More
