Chorus and Jazz Band to Perform Dec. 12 and 13.
The MCCC Chorus, made up of college students and singers from the community, will perform "GLORIA!!" on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m. Conducted by Professor Marjorie Herman, D.M., the performance will feature a varied mix of sacred selections alternating with lighter fare. Included are Glorias by Mozart and Ailor. Also on the program is the newly formed student group, the Mercer Chamber Choir, under the direction of student Elizabeth Boyle.

The MCCC Jazz Band will perform on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 8 p.m., and is directed by Professor James Kelly. A varied and exciting program will include jazz classics such as Miles Davis' Milestones and John Coltrane's signature Blue Trane, as well as standards form the Great American Songbook including Have You Met Miss Jones and Willow Weep for Me.

Heart Healthy Tips for the Holidays
Amy Iseneker, the college's Heart Association representative, invites all to a "Lunch and Learn" session about heart health on Friday, Dec. 8, 12:15 p.m. in the Faculty/Staff Dining Room. All are invited to bring lunch. John Kalinowski, Mercer's Exercise Science program coordinator, will talk about healthy eating during the holidays. Jodi Grinwald of the American Heart Association and Michael Howes, a heart disease survivor, will also present information on heart health.

MCCC Marketing Wins Seven Awards
MCCC's Marketing staff won seven awards at the Eastern Regional Conference of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, held Nov. 6 in Lancaster PA.

Three Gold awards were for the college's marketing campaign, "You're Unique, So are We," for the college catalog, and for transit advertising. Silver awards were for the Kelsey Theatre season brochure, a print advertisement series, and the Mercer Viewbook. A bronze award was for a presentation folder. More here

At The Gallery
"Channel Traces," with artwork by Jean Burdick and Cathy Watkins, is on display at the MCCC Gallery now through Dec. 20. A reception is set for Wednesday, Nov. 29, 5 to 7:30 p.m., and a Gallery Talk will take place on Monday, Dec. 4, 7 p.m.

Staff Member's Sculpture on Display
Janis Purcell, an artist who is a part-time Testing Center staff member and a volunteer at MCCC's Gallery, has four of her sculptures
currently on display at a juried show in New Hope. Called "Words in Wood," the show is an exhibit of New Hope Arts, and is located at The Center, 2 Stockton Street, second floor. It runs through December. For more information click here.

eNews for November
Designed for alumni, friends, trustees, advisory board members and others outside the college, the eNews@MCCC contains much of the same news that is disseminated within the college. Many have asked to see the eNews so they know what our outside constituents have received, so here is the November issue.

Six Flags Passes Available
Looking for a holiday gift? Camp College has a limited number of 2007 season passes available now for the Six Flags Theme Parks, according to Sharon Vlasac. Great Adventure season passes are $79.99. A three-park pass which includes Hurricane Harbor is $109.99.

One day passes will be available beginning in March for $26.50, including Great Adventure and Animal Safari. Hurricane Harbor tickets are $23.50. For more information contact campcollege@mccc.edu or call Trish Venanzi at ext. 3291.
