Three community partners will be honored by Mercer County Community College’s Board of Trustees at a special community event, “Creating the Future; Celebrating Success,” on Wed. Dec. 5, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the college’s
The honorees will be Ewing Superintendent Ray Broach, Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton, and The McGraw Hill Companies.
The McGraw-Hill Companies has partnered with MCCC’s Center for Training and Development since the 1990s to prepare its employees for the changing workplace. In 2006 Mercer’s CTD began a customized training program for the company’s technology professionals and future leaders. This program brought McGraw Hill employees to the college from throughout the

In addition to
the presentations to the honorees, which will begin at 6 p.m. in the Conference
Center’s auditorium, the celebration will feature student performances and
exhibits, including live music by the Jazz Band, pastries baked by the
Hospitality Club, exhibits by fine art and digital media art students, videos
produced by television students, floral displays and landscape design
demonstrations by horticulture students, chemistry experiments by science
students, and more. Light refreshments will be served.
Visitors will also be able to take home information on credit and noncredit programs.
