An Update from 2010 Grad David Hoyt
Professor Khoushab shares a note he received from David Hoyt, last year's Student Speaker at Commencement:

"Dear Prof. Khoushab, It's been a long time and I hope all has been well in the last year for you! How was the last year of classes and how are you and your family doing? Life over here is great and I am out from under the internet blockade in China and now in Washington DC working at the Dept. of Commerce's International Trade Administration. I had an utterly fantastic year at Stanford and met with enormous successes. I wanted to express my sincerest thanks for your honors classes. You helped create a strong foundation of economic thought for me that paid huge dividends in Stanford, China, and now in Washington DC. I have many questions I want to ask you about economic system contrasts (my most recent teacher at Georgetown this summer was a member of the Austrian School). Overall the instruction you gave me helped me earn many accolades and push me on this path to success. I'm hoping to stop by MCCC in August and I'd love the chance to stop by and catch up. When I get back to NJ I'll give you a further heads up. All the best! Sincerely, David Hoyt
