Project NASA Update July, 2012
From Susan Bowen: We have liftoff!  The Finance system is live, including the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Purchasing systems!  Over 100 staff who serve as budget managers and their executive assistants participated in training on the My Mercer Colleague Portal and Web Advisor. The training provided them with demos and hands-on experience with the new system to access their FY 13 budgets and purchase goods/services.
Now that we are into the first month of utilizing the Colleague Finance system, these users should contact the following areas for assistance:
  • Access Issues to the Portal or Web Advisor – Call the ITS Help Desk, ext. 4357 or email  tech-help@mccc.edu
  • Vendor Name or Address Questions – Email the Purchasing Department at purchasing@mccc.edu
  • Budget Questions – Call the Finance Department
We have had several team consultations and trainings during the month of July, including the Student, Financial Aid, Advancement and HR/Payroll teams.  The implementation is well into its mission! Look for future monthly updates in the M-Newsletter and on the Project NASA website on MLink: http://mlink.mccc.edu/tech_serv_nasa.shtml.
