Disney's 'Little Mermaid' Opens Tonight at Kelsey Theatre
Join Ariel, her underwater friends -- and one very nasty sea witch! -- as The Yardley Players present Disney's "The Little Mermaid" tonight through June 4, including matinees on Saturday and Sunday of both weekends. It's perfect family entertainment featuring songs by Alan Menken. Read more about this delightful musical here.

HRIM Breakfast Club Continues Through June 7
The Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management program presents the Breakfast Club! Breakfast will be served Monday through Thursday through June 7, 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. in ES 111. No tickets are required. Prices start at $3.00.

Mercer County Symphonic Band Presents Spring Concert May 31
The Mercer County Symphonic Band will present its annual Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 31, at 7:30 p.m. at Kelsey Theatre. The performance features an assortment of music by American composers, including works by Leonard Bernstein, Leroy Anderson, Johnny Mercer, Benny Goodman and John Phillip Sousa. The band will also present a traditional Irish ballad and the Russian Sailors’ Dance from the Red Poppy ballet. Admission is free. Read more here.

'The Glass Menagerie' Comes to Kelsey Theatre June 9 to 18
Love, dreams, desire, and longing tug at the heart in Tennessee Williams’ “The Glass Menagerie,” coming to Kelsey Theatre. Presented by the Perry Award-winning Maurer Productions OnStage (MPO), performances run June 9-18. Read more here.

MCCC Celebrates 50th Anniversary Commencement with Messages of Inspiration
Messages of inspiration filled the quad on MCCC's West Windsor Campus Commencement May 18. The college conferred degrees and certificates to 1,058 graduates in a ceremony that marked the conclusion of the college’s 50th anniversary year and featured the participation of alumni from almost every class. Click here to view the YouTube playlist, including a video montage of the festivities, a feature on mother/son graduates Angela Jones and Aaron Jones-Murphy, student speaker Cody Willever, comments by alumni speakers Tammy Duffy, Jack Lechner, Rodney Thompson, and Distinguished Teaching Award recipient Jim Maccariella, and the complete ceremony. Recognition and Rewards Abound at 2017 Honors Convocation
MCCC’s top achievers gathered at Kelsey Theatre prior to Commencement on May 18 to be recognized for academic excellence at the annual Honors Convocation. Professor of Physical Education Robert Pugh, the 2016 recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award, presided over the ceremonies as students had their moment on stage. Read more here.

Mercer Launches New Cloud-Based Software Platform
MCCC is taking the lead in enhanced student services as the first college in the nation to launch a new cloud-based software delivery system, Colleague SaaS (Software-as-a-Service), in cooperation with Amazon Web Services and Ellucian. Read more here.

Sweet Celebration as Mercer’s PTA Program Begins 20th Year
How sweet it was! On April 28, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Mercer, coordinated by Professor Barbara Behrens, hosted “The Chocolate Affair II” to celebrate its 20th anniversary. PTA alumni, current students, family members, faculty members and administrators gathered in the MCCC Conference Center atrium to network, share professional news and reminisce. Read more here.

Vikings Baseball Team Headed to NJCAA World Series For Second Consecutive Year
The Vikings baseball is now in Enid, Okla., preparing for competition in its second consecutive trip to the NJCAA Division II World Series! The Mercer squad begins World Series play on Saturday as the number four seed and will take on number five Phoenix College at 2 p.m. EDT. Read more here.
