A Message To High School Grads

Choose From Three Class Formats

As you and your families make difficult decisions regarding the upcoming Fall semester, we are excited to tell you about options that will provide you with flexibility while adhering to CDC guidelines to ensure your health.

All courses for Mercer County Community College's Fall 2020 semester will be offered in one of the following three formats:

  • Remote Instruction – Instructors deliver course materials and assignments remotely and the class meets remotely at specific times.
  • Online Instruction – Instructors deliver course materials and assignments fully online. No weekly meeting times.
  • Hybrid Courses – Hybrid courses include a combination of face-to-face meetings and remote/online sessions.

Over the next few days, the college will note for each Fall 2020 course one of the above three approaches. Regardless of your chosen option, you will need access to a computer and steady Internet connection. Some classes might also require access to a webcam, specific software, or other equipment. We will work with you on securing as much of this as you may need.

Students who are currently enrolled for the Fall will be contacted by MCCC enrollment specialists or other staff to help select the best option. We are committed to doing our best to provide you a safe learning environment. If you have any questions about the registration process, course options, or any other matters related to returning to Mercer in the Fall, please refer to the Mercer website for more detailed information.

As always, we look forward to helping you successfully advance your educational journey at Mercer. We are in this together.
