NEW PATHWAYS TO TEACHING IN NEW JERSEY
ALTERNATE ROUTE TO TEACHING
Are you thinking of becoming a teacher?
Do you already have a college degree?
Do you want to make a difference in the life of a child?
If you do, TEACH!
The Center for Continuing Studies and New Pathways to Teaching in New Jersey (NPTNJ) provides a teaching opportunity for those who possess a Bachelors degree or higher and who did not complete a traditional undergraduate teaching program. If you have spent years volunteering in your children's schools or have often thought or been told that you have what it takes to be a teacher but you just lack the undergraduate training, let us help you embark on an alternate route to teaching.
NPTNJ is a state approved alternate route to teaching. The structure of the program consists of two stages. For information on when the stages will be offered and any additional information, please contact our Director, DR. STEVE BASSETT.
