Are you looking to get into the growing field of Allied Health but aren't sure if your skills are up to speed? Take this FREE class to brush up on your skills. This opportunity has not come along before and spaces are filling fast!

Taking this course will increase your chance of success by offering readiness and preparatory practice in basic writing skills, medical-related terminology and math, and reading comprehension. You will also learn job readiness skills, work ethics, conflict resolution and will learn how to navigate financial aid. All students will also earn First Aid and CPR certificates!

Demand for allied health professionals is so great; we want to help you meet the demand!

No high school diploma or GED required if you are interested in becoming a Certified Nurse Aide. Must be 18+ to register.

From time to time, grants become available that may be of assistance to you. We will post information about them on this page as they are available.

READY TO WORK GRANT

This grant is designed to help long-term unemployed workers rapidly return to work at NO COST to them while helping companies find, identify and train the best possible candidates for available positions.  It is a grant that was awarded to the New Jersey Community College Consortium of which we are a participating member.

The program reimburses participating companies for up to 90 percent of wages or salaries paid to a job candidate while in training. This is a Win-Win for job candidates who are in need of training and employers who are in need of candidates.

Qualified Jobs:

This federal program primarily targets jobs relating to the following industry clusters:

  • Information technology
  • Pharmaceuticals and life sciences
  • Advanced manufacturing

You must meet the following Criteria to be considered:

  • New Jersey resident
  • Unemployed or underemployed for 6 months or more
  • 18 years of age or older
  • If you are a Veteran, you will be provided Priority Service
