The Center for Continuing Studies offers Culinary 101 courses, Food Service certifications and wine appreciation workshops each semester.
The Culinary 101 courses are specially developed by Mercer County Community College's experienced culinary and hospitality faculty. The courses are designed to provide introductory lessons in culinary arts while using the freshest ingredients available. Classes are created as one session workshops that run for, on average, three hours.
We also offer the ServSafe Food Safety Manager Exam prep class and exam each semester. For those who need to re-certify, we offer a one session re-certification class. Our ServSafe certification meets the madatory New Jersey requirement for food establishments.
Looking for something fun to do on ladies night or date night while increasing your knowledge of wine? Our Wines Around the World series brings different courses to you each semester so the learning and appreciation never stops!
