LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT CERTIFICATION

INTRODUCTION TO AUTOMATION USING 
PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLERS (PLC)

To be competitive in the global economy, manufacturing and service companies are examining ways to improve existing processes to become more efficient and reduce costs. This course is designed for electricians, industrial maintenance mechanics/automation technicians and energy management system operators in training.


Students in this innovative training program will have the opportunity to use PLC work stations that will simulate real world tasks (work stations pictured above.)

Required: Basic knowledge of AC/DC circuits, digital electronic and industrial controls are required. Must be comfortable using a Microsoft Windows operation system.

INTRODUCTION TO WORDPRESS

Learn about this popular website, blogging and content management system! This is a useful entry-level course for small business, entrepreneurs and novices who wish to build their own websites. Introduction to WordPress emphasizes hands-on exercises that build pages, add plug-ins, use templates, and edit themes while allowing students to create their own website. An understanding of website architecture, hostings and programming languages is helpful but not necessary.

Quickstart: Microsoft Office 2013 with Windows 8

This comprehensive course is ideal if you are an inexperienced computer user who needs to quickly learn the basic Microsoft Office 2013 skills with Windows 8. It is helpful for both everyday life and for the workplace. Although introductory in nature, this course is enough to get you started quickly using the basic and most important features of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce documents, spreadsheets and eye catching presentations.

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Training

The CCNA program trains students to install, configure and maintain simple networks using Cisco devices. This program will also provide training in installing and configuring Cisco switches and routers in multi-protocol inter networks using LAN and WAN interfaces. Students will be fully prepared to take the CCNA Certification test. Obtaining Cisco certification validates an individual's achievement and increases the holder's professional credibility by demonstrating high standard of technical expertise.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER CERTIFICATE
