Welcome to the Business Administration program at Mercer County Community College. Our faculty pride ourselves in offering a rigorous curriculum designed to lay the academic foundation for a successful transfer to a four-year college or university business program. As Program Coordinator, my personal goal is to provide students with a nurturing learning environment where questions are answered, assistance is available and education takes place both in and outside of the classroom.
Spring/Summer 2018 has been filled with achievements for our Business Admin majors. We are very proud of our six students who competed in the Rutgers Newark-M&T Bank Business Case Competition for the first time this past spring and won third place (along with $300 each). Another six students competed in the Rider University SAP competition with one team of three winning first place. Three graduating students were inducted into the NJ Business Administration Honor Society at the NJ State House at the end of April. During summer A session, Business majors traveled to Disney World with myself and Prof. Csige to participate in Disney’s leadership training as well as to explore Disney’s corporate culture. Finally, we established the position of Internship Coordinator (Prof. Callahan) to centralize internship opportunities for our students.
We will be working during the summer to update this site with news, upcoming campus events and important information for Business Administration majors. So please check often, especially for more on the process that we will use to form the 2019 Business Case team!
