Louisburg, NJ-Mercer softball (42-9) lost their second game vs Louisburg College (52-6) 2-10 in the Atlantic A District Championship. Sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) had a home run and 2 RBIs and freshman Madison Jobes (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) went 2 for 2 in the loss. Freshman pitcher Jessica Adams (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman) had five strikeouts in three innings of relief and sophomore pitcher Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) had four strikeouts in four innings.
The Vikings will wait to see if they are able to earn an at-large bid to the NJCAA Division II World Series, which will be announced on Tuesday, May 14th.

Louisburg, NC-Mercer softball (42-8) was shut out 0-8 in their opening game vs Louisburg College (51-6) in the Atlantic A District Championship. The Vikings managed just one hit in the loss.

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (42-7) lost to Del Tech (27-9) 9-11 in the Region 19 Championship in eight innings. Sophomore Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown) went 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs and freshman Madison Jobes (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) was 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs. Sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) had 2 RBIs and freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) added an RBI. Freshman Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) went 2 for 3 with 2 runs and sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) had two hits in the loss.
The Vikings will still advance to the District Championship despite the loss and take on #1 seed Louisburg (50-6) out of Region 10 in a best of three series.

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (42-6) beat Del Tech CC (26-9) 13-6 in the first game of the double elimination Region 19 Championship. Sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs and freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 RBIs. Sophomore Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown) was 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs and freshman Madison Jobes (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) went 2 for 4 with an RBI.
Freshman pitcher Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had seven strikeouts in five innings in her 15th win of the season. Freshman pitcher Jessica Adams (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman) allowed no earned runs in two innings of relief work.
Sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) and freshman Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) each had a double and RBI and freshman Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) went 2 for 3 with two runs.
The Vikings will face Del Tech again in the Region 19 Championship in the if necessary game, with both teams advancing to the District Championship.

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (41-6) beat Salem CC (31-14) 10-8 in an elimination game to stay alive in the Region 19 Tournament. Sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) went 2 for 3 with a double, home run and 3 RBIs and freshman Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) had a home run and 3 RBIs. Sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) was 2 for 4 with a triple, home run and 3 RBIs and freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) went 3 for 3 with two runs. Freshman Jessica Adams (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman) got her 10th win of the season, striking out two in 2.2 innings of relief work, allowing no earned runs and just one hit.
With the win, the Vikings advance to the Region 19 Championship where they will face Del Tech CC (26-8).

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (40-6) kept their season alive with an 8-0 win vs Lackawanna in an elimination game in the Region 19 Playoffs. Sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) had a home run and 2 RBIs and freshman Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had a double and 2 RBIs. Freshman Angelina Guida (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Twp.) had 2 RBIs and sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) had a home run and RBI. Sophomore pitcher Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) allowed no earned runs over five innings in her 17th win of the season.
The Vikings will face Salem CC (31-12) in an 10:00 AM elimination game on Saturday, May 4th with the winner advancing to the Region Championship to take on Del Tech CC (26-8).

The Vikings managed just one hit from sophomore Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown HS) in the game. Freshman pitcher Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had five strikeouts in five innings in the loss.
The Vikings will face Lackawanna (35-18) in an elimination game at 4:00 PM in the Region Playoffs.

Sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) had a home run and four RBIs and sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) went 3 for 3 with a triple, three runs and two RBIs.
Sophomore pitcher Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) allowed just two hits and no earned runs in her 16th win of the season. Freshman Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) and Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) each were 1 for 2 with an RBI in the win.

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (38-5) closed out the regular season with a sweep of CCBC-Catonsville (21-13) in a doubleheader. The Vikings won 7-0 in Game 1 of the doubleheader. Sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) was 2 for 4 with a triple, 3 RBIs and two runs and freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) went 3 for 4 with a double and RBI.
Freshman Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) allowed just one hit and no earned runs and had eight strikeouts in seven innings in her 14th win of the season. Sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) added an RBI in the win.

Lincroft, NJ-Mercer softball moved to 37-5 on the season following a 15-2 win at Brookdale (12-13) in five innings. Freshman Angelina Guida (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Twp.) went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs and freshman Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) had a double and 2 RBIs.
Freshman pitcher Jessica Adams (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman) struck out six in five innings in her ninth win of the season. Freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) was 2 for 2 with an RBI and 3 runs.
