Head Coach Mike DeAngelis
Mike DeAngelis has been coaching in the Athletics Department of Mercer County Community College for nine years. He served as Strength and Conditioning Coach for Women's Soccer from 2007 to 2013 before being appointed Head Cross Country Coach in 2014.
During his tenure with soccer, DeAngelis helped the program reach a District semi-final and District final. He also coached on two Region XIX Championship teams. In his first season as Head Coach for Cross Country, DeAngelis led the team to two invitational meet wins and a 2nd Place finish in the Region XIX Championship.
Prior to his employment at MCCC, DeAngelis completed an internship for Army Athletics at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. He also worked at TEST Sports Clubs in Martinsville, NJ, where he helped design and implement training programs for NFL prospects.
DeAngelis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University in 2006. In 2010, he completed his master's degree in Health and Physical Education from The College of New Jersey. In the summer of 2013, DeAngelis earned the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
He currently resides in Levittown, PA, with his wife Erica.
