Mercer women's cross country finished 5th out of 9 scoring teams at the Belmont Classic hosted by Cheyney University at Belmont Plateau.  Sophmore Diana Taveras (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) continued her strong season, finishing 7th overall in the 5K meet in 22:45.  Freshman Hixlayne Cuetia-Rodriguez (Plainsboro, NJ/West Windsor South) finished 25th in 24:03 and freshman Cai-Cai Hahn (West Windsor, NJ/West Windsor South) was 29th overall in 24:28.  Freshman Marissa Scott (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) finished in 43rd place in 25:40 and freshman Rachael Wilson (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) just missed finishing in the top 50, placing 51st overall in 27:32.
