NJCAA Division I National Championship

31st Place

Mercer women's cross country placed 31st out of 34 scoring teams at the NJCAA Division I National Championship held at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  The Vikings had two runners finish in the top 200 led by sophomore Diana Taveras (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) in 167th place in 21:27 and freshman Cai-Cai Hahn (West Windsor, NJ/West Windsor South) in 179th place in 21:37.  Freshman Hixlayne Cuetia-Rodriguez (Plainsboro, NJ/West Windsor South) 235th in 22:58, freshman Marissa Scott (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) 238th in 23:05 and sophomore Karizma Brown (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) 247th in 23:44 rounded out the top five scoring runners for the Vikings.  The 5K meet took place on a windy day in Iowa, slowing down times for all runners on the open golf course.
